Accounts and saved study records

Firebase Authentication handles Google and email/password sign-in, verification, and password recovery. Command Ready receives your account identifier, email, and display name. Your password is handled by Firebase, not stored in Command Ready’s study database.

We store your profile, study preferences, lesson completion, answers and confidence ratings, exam results, scenario choices and written explanations, feedback, and account session records. These let you resume your work and see your own progress.

Cookies and your device

A secure session cookie keeps your account connected. Firebase may keep sign-in state in browser storage. Account-specific study caches can retain lesson progress and pending changes on this device. Signing in to a different account does not import another account’s cached work. Use sign out on shared devices.

Beta feedback and activity

Public support requests contain your message, topic, and optional reply email. These are visible only to authorized administrators. A reply email is visitor-supplied and is not proof of account ownership. Public requests are kept separately from signed-in study records; include the request reference when asking for their removal. To limit spam, we store a date-scoped hash of the network address rather than the raw address. Reports include the study screen or question you identify, your message, an optional usefulness rating, and their review status. Authorized administrators can review feedback. We record dates of visits, study starts, session completions, and scenario completions to understand which parts of the beta are useful. These records are tied to your account; we do not use session replay or advertising tracking in this study workspace.

AI Captain

Guided mode uses the built-in study library. When live AI is enabled, your question, a limited recent conversation, and relevant study context are sent to OpenAI to produce a reply. We do not include your email or password in that request. Avoid sending sensitive personal information. Live requests disable storage of the response for later retrieval through the API; provider security and operational retention may still apply. Command Ready does not save the tutor conversation as a permanent study record.

The voice question feature uses your browser’s speech-recognition service when you activate the microphone. Processing depends on your browser and may use its provider’s servers. You can type instead.

Services used

Google/Firebase provides account authentication. Sites and its hosting infrastructure provide the website and study database. OpenAI provides live tutoring when configured. These providers may process technical information needed to operate and secure their services. Captain’s Ledger is a separate app; clicking its link takes you to its own website and privacy practices.

Your controls

In User Profile you can edit study preferences, request password recovery, download your study record, and delete your account. Deletion removes your Firebase account and personal records from the active study database, including linked earlier study history. A minimal account identifier and deletion status are kept to complete the operation and prevent an old session from recreating it. Hosting backups and provider operational logs may follow their own retention schedules. We cannot delete files you previously downloaded.

Keep your account screen open while deletion finishes. If a provider or connection fails, use Retry deletion. For a privacy question or an interrupted deletion, use our public support form. No sign-in is required.

Learning, not certification

Study scores describe performance inside this tool. They do not certify competence, predict an exam result, or replace official requirements or instruction. Check the source linked to each topic when a requirement or rule matters.
